Slip Disc Surgery
A slipped disc occurs when the soft inner core of a slipped spinal disc pushes through the tough outer ring, compressing nearby spinal nerves. Slip disc surgery (discectomy or microdiscectomy) involves removing the herniated portion of the disc to alleviate pressure and restore patient comfort and mobility.
